A process for harvesting Yew biomass is disclosed. The process comprising the steps of: (i) harvesting the tops or roots of the Yew tree; (ii) washing the harvested material; (iii) drying the harvested material; and (iv) grinding the harvested material into a fine powder. The resulting fine powder may be used to make Yew pellets suitable for extracting taxanes and other natural products therefrom.

Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à: (i) récolter la partie supérieure ou les racines d'un if; (ii) nettoyer la matière récoltée; (iii) sécher cette matière récoltée; et (iv) broyer la matière récoltée en poudre fine.
