Installation (1) for VOC-recovering and shielding gas protection of tanks (2) and connected devices on board a tanker, said installation comprising a first installation section (3) that normally is in operation for shielding gas protection and VOC-recovering and a second installation section (4) based on use of the inert gas (IG), which in substance is gaseous combustion product from the tanker's boilers/turbines and motors or gas from an inert gas generator, which second installation section functions as a back-up installation that normally is not in operation except for freeing the tanks(2) from gas. The first installation section is based on use of hydrocarbon (HC) gas and comprises: at least one VOC-recovering plant (5) connected to, at least one HC-storage (6) connected to, at least one HC-gas preparation device (7), devices for fluid communication (8) for HC-gas transport between the HC- storage and the tanks of the ship, devices (9,10) for fluid communication within the installation, internal on the ship and to/from an external installation (10), a control device (11) for operation of the installation according to pressure, volume, level, composition, temperature or flow within or through the components of the installation. A method making use of the above-mentioned installation is also a part of the invention.
La présente invention concerne une installation (1) destinée à la récupération de composés organiques volatiles (COV) et à la protection par gaz protecteurs de citernes (2) et des dispositifs associés embarqués sur un véhicule-citerne, ladite installation comprenant: une première partie d'installation (3) qui sert normalement à la protection par gaz protecteurs et à la récupération de COV; et une seconde partie d'installation (4) se basant sur l'utilisation du gaz inerte (GI) qui est en substance le produit de combustion gazeux issu des chaudières/turbines et moteurs du véhicule-citerne ou le gaz issu d'un générateur de gaz inerte, ladite seconde installation fonctionnant comme installation de réserve qui n'est normalement pas en fonctionnement excepté lors du vidage des citernes (2) du gaz qu'elles contiennent. La première partie d'installation se base sur l'utilisation de gaz hydrocarbure (HC) et comprend au moins une station de récupération de COV (5) reliée à au moins un système de stockage de HC (6) relié à au moins un dispositif de préparation de gaz HC (7), des dispositifs de communication fluidique (8) destinés à l'acheminement de gaz HC entre le système de stockage de HC et les citernes du bateau, des dispositifs (9, 10) destinés à la communication fluidique à l'intérieur de l'installation, à l'intérieur du bateau et de/vers une installation externe (10), un dispositif de commande (11) destiné à faire fonctionner l'installation en fonction de la pression, du volume, du niveau, de la composition, de la température ou de la circulation à l'intérieur ou à travers les éléments de l'installation. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé permettant l'utilisation de l'installation mentionnée ci-dessus.
