HEAD FORM FOR USE IN STUFFING ANIMAL SKINS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A head form for use in stuffing animals in- cluding an open mouth cavity is manufactured in a mould- ing process by a mould defining the outer shape of the head form and including a separate resilient V-shaped portion which can be pinned in position in the mould to define the open mouth cavity Following setting of the moulding material the set head form can be removed from the mould including the resilient portion which is then abstracted from the moulded head form by flexing the arms of the V-shape and withdrawing the portion through the opening to the mouth cavity. The head form is then wrapped with the skin of the animal and simulated parts added to complete the life-like appearance. The head form can either be used in the form of a trophy or, for example, in a bear skin rug.
