The invention relates to a head-up display adaptable to different equipments of a given type, for example aircraft type, land vehicle type or helmets type. The display (HUD) is used to project a symbology emitted within a given spectral range by an image source (SRC) to infinity, and which is intended to be superposed on the outside surroundings observed by a pilot, by means of a convergent combiner (CMB) and a relay optics (REL). According to the invention, the combiner forms an off-axis convergent mirror for which the angle of inclination ( ) is adjusted for each specific equipment as a function of the position of the image source in said equipment, and within a given angular range depending on the equipment type, within the spectral band of the image source. Furthermore, the relay optics is modular and comprises a first module (MOD i) with at least one optical element, fixed regardless of the equipment, and a second module (MOD f) with at least one optical element that is put in a predefined position depending on the angular position of the combiner.
L'invention concerne un viseur tête haute apte à s'adapter à des équipements d'un type donné, par exemple de type aéronef, véhicule terrestre ou casque. Le viseur (HUD) permet de projeter à l'infini une symbologie émise dans une bande spectrale donnée par une source d'images (SRC), et destinée à être superposée au paysage extérieur observé par un pilote, au moyen d'un combineur convergent (CMB) et d'une optique relais (REL). Selon l'invention, le combineur forme dans la bande spectrale de la source d'images un miroir convergent hors axe dont l'angle d'inclinaison (a) est réglé, pour un équipement donné, en fonction de la position de la source d'images dans ledit équipement, et dans une plage angulaire donnée dépendant du type d'équipement. En outre, l'optique relais est modulaire, comprenant un premier module (MOD i) avec au moins un élément optique, fixe quel que soit l'équipement, et un second module (MOD f), avec au moins un élément optique dont la position est prédéfinie en fonction de la position angulaire du combineur.
