Abstract "A Headbox for a paper machine" The invention relates to in a paper machine or the like, a headbox having a distribution header and two or more paper stock flow passages through which paper pulp suspension of one or several grades is supplied by means of lip slice means onto web forming means wherein the distribution header of the headbox is of segmental design and consists of two or more pulp suspension supply segments, each said supply segment com- municating with an associated turbulence generator consisting of a plurality of partial elements defining parallel flow passages disposed between walls of the headbox and its segments;and said headbox is of modular construction such that the segments or turbulence generators are exchangeable to mold the grades of paper being produced.
