Abstract of the disclosure A headbox for a paper machine for manufacturing at least a two-ply fiber web, comprising separate slice channels each connected to a separate source of fiber suspension and forming a slice opening extending across the wires of the paper machine for supplying separate fiber suspension streams upon said wires. The slice chambers are separated from each other by means of division walls each supported at the upstream end by the headbox adjustably in the cross direction with respect to the flow direction of the fiber suspension in said slice channel in order to allow adjustment of the cross sectional areas of said slice channels at said upstream ends of said division walls.
