ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A header for use with a bank of hydrocyclone separators is described which includes a generally elongated hollow shell having a divider wall therein and extending longitudinally thereof to divide the header into first and second compartments. A first set of nipples leads into the first compartment in a lateral direction relative to the lengthwise dimension of the header and they are adapted to each be connected to a respective one of the accept outlets of the hydrocyclone separators to receive the primary accept flow therefrom. A second set of nipples is provided each of which is disposed generally concentrically within a respective one of the nipples of the first set and each being sized in length and diameter so as to accommodate at least the air core which extends along the axis of each hydrocyclone separator during operation. Each of the second set of nipples is connected to the dividing wall and extends therethrough in fluid communication with the second chamber. A first outlet is connected to the first compartment for discharge of the combined primary accept flows, and a second outlet is connected to the second compartment for discharging the flow from the second set of nipples.
