A hearing aid is provided having an input transducer, a signal processor, an output transducer and an adaptive filter for generating a feedback cancellation signal further comprises a norm estimator generating a first norm signal indicative of a norm of the electrical input signal and a second norm signal indicative of a norm of a feedback-cancelled electrical input signal, a comparator for comparing the first and second norm signals and generating a difference value N fbc - N x and a decision unit disabling application of the feedback cancellation signal to the signal path of the hearing aid if the difference value is above a certain threshold value c th thus avoiding the feedback cancellation mechanism actually increasing acoustic feedback of the hearing aid. The invention also provides a method for reducing acoustic feedback of a hearing aid, a computer program, and an electronic circuit for a hearing aid.
L'invention concerne un appareil auditif comprenant un transducteur d'entrée (2), un processeur de signaux (3), un transducteur de sortie (4), un filtre adaptatif (5) permettant de produire un signal de suppression de Larsen (101), un estimateur de norme (10) produisant un premier signal de norme (109) indiquant une norme du signal électrique d'entrée et un second signal de norme (110) indiquant une norme d'un signal électrique d'entrée dont l'effet Larsen a été supprimé, un comparateur permettant de comparer le premier signal de norme et le second signal de norme et de produire une valeur d'écart N¿fbc? N¿x?, ainsi qu'une unité décisionnelle permettant de désactiver l'application du signal de suppression de Larsen du parcours du signal de l'appareil auditif si la valeur d'écart dépasse une certaine valeur de seuil c¿th?, pour éviter que le mécanisme de suppression de Larsen n'augmente l'effet de Larsen dans l'appareil auditif. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de réduire l'effet de Larsen dans un appareil auditif, un programme informatique et un circuit électronique pour un appareil auditif.
