Abstract of the Disclosure A heat-adhesive film laminate comprising a film of a plastic material having excellent heat resistance, such as a polyester, polyamide or polycarbonate, laminated on one side of a metal foil such as aluminum foil, copper foil or iron foil, and a film of a resin laminated on other side of the metal foil, the resin predominantly comprising a block copolymer having a melting point above 140°C but lower than the temperature at which the characteristics of the plastic film deteriorate and having a Young's modulus .epsilon. (dyne/cm2) and a breaking elongation (.DELTA.i/1.0) X 100 (%) when measured at 20°C and 100°C which satisfy the following relationships: 107 (dyne/cm2) < c < 1010 (dyne/cm2) and (.DELTA.?/?0) X 100 > 40 (%). The laminate has superior heat resistance and heat seal strength as compared with known materials and is useful in the packaging of foods requiring preservation for long periods of time.
