ABSTRACT A heat and impact resistant resin composition which comprises: from 5 to 89 parts by weight of a graft copolymer resin (A) obtained by graft polymerizing from 30 to 75 parts by weight of a monomer mixture comprising from 30 to 80% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer, from 10 to 50% by weight of an N-substituted maleimide monomer, from 10 to 40% by weight of a vinyl cyanide monomer and from 0 to 30% by weight of other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with these monomers (provided that the total amount of the monomer mixture is 100% by weight) to from 25 to 70 parts by weight of a conjugated diene rubber (a); from 10 to 90 parts by weight of a copolymer resin (B) obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising from 30 to 80% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer, from 10 to 50% by weight of an N-substituted maleimide monomer, from 10 to 40% by weight of a vinyl cyanide monomer and from 0 to 30% by weight of other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with these monomers (provided that the total amount of the monomer mixture is 100% by weight), or an imido group-containing copolymer resin (B') obtained by reacting a primary amine and/or ammonia to a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising from 30 to 80% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer, from 5 to 50% by weight of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer and from 0 to 40% by weight of other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with these monomers (provided that the total amount of the monomer mixture is 100% by weight); from 1 to 45 parts by weight of a graft copolymer resin (C) obtained by graft polymerizing from 83 to 98 parts by weight of a monomer mixture comprising from 55 to 85% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer and from 1.5 to 45% by weight of a vinyl cyanide monomer (provided that the total amount of the monomer mixture is 100% by weight) to from 2 to 17 parts by weight of a conjugated diene rubber (c); and from 0 to 50 parts by weight of a copolymer resin (D) obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising from 55 to 85% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer and from 15 to 45% by weight of a vinyl cyanide monomer (provided that the total amount of the monomer mixture is 100% by weight), provided that the total amount of the copolymer resins (A), (B) or (B'), (C) and (D) is 100 parts by weight.
