ABSRACT An insulating lining is made up of modules of ceramic fibre, each hung over a module rod. The modules are held in tight side by side relation by engaging the rods with respective engaging means spaced along a hanger rod extending through the modules. The engaging means are spaced apart by a distance selected according to the degree of compression desired in the modules.
