2095851 9208748 PCTABS00013 The novel thermosetting masses contain polyepoxides and cyclic polyimino ethers as reactive components and possibly a catalyst and other auxiliary agents and additives. The cyclic polyimino ethers are substances of general formula (I) in which A is an aliphatic, aromatic or araliphatic group with 4 to 40 C atoms and n represents free valencies for different C atoms, x is a value between 0 and 40, n is one of the values 2, 3 or 4, Z is a direct bond or the CR5R6 group, the radicals R1 to R6 are independently H, alkyl or aryl with up to 8 C atoms, R7 is selected from the hydrogen, methyl and ethyl group and Q is a phenylene group which may be substituted by 1 or 2 methyl groups or the -CHR-M- group, where R is selected from the H, alkyl or alkenyl group and M is selected from the alkylene, alkenylene, arylene and alkarylene group, and the molecular parts R and M independently have 0 to 12 atoms and may be substituted by an alkoxy group with 1 to 3 C atoms. The masses can be hot polymerized to produce high quality mouldings, coatings, and adhesives.
