An air handling luminaire having a light diffuser, louver, or lamp shield made of a flammable material and mounted within a luminaire housing. Integral with the luminaire housing is a heat distortable support clip from which the light diffuser, louver, or lamp shield depends. The luminaire housing also has a ballast channel and at least one reflector mounted therein. The ballast channel and luminaire housing have a plurality of vents and air gaps for fluid communication with an air plenum. The heat distortable support clip non-permanently deforms or distorts when introduced to a predetermined temperature in order to release the lamp shield from the housing and prevent burning thereof.
Luminaire de traitement d'air comprenant un diffuseur de lumière, un louvre ou un écran de lampe constitué d'un matériau inflammable et monté à l'intérieur d'un boîtier de luminaire. le diffuseur de lumière, le louvre ou l'écran de lampe dépendent d'une chape de maintien déformable à chaud est solidaire du boîtier de luminaire. Le boîtier de luminaire comporte également un canal de ballast et au moins un réflecteur monté dans celui-ci. Le canal de ballast et le boîtier de luminaire ont une pluralité d'évents et des espaces d'air pour assurer une communication fluidique avec un plénum d'air. La chape de maintien déformable à chaud se déforme de manière non permanente lorsqu'elle est introduite à une température prédéterminée afin de libérer l'écran de lampe du boîtier et d'empêcher la combustion de celui-ci.
