ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A heat exchange apparatus for transferring heat from one fluid medium to another which comprises a heat exchange element formed of tubing wound on a perforated cylindrical (bobbin like) frame and wherein the air movement is produced by a blower which is rotated by a fluid powered turbine to which it is functionally connected. The unit may be fabricated primarily of plastics and it should be useful for heat retrieval and distribution systems where cost, ease of installation and safety are concerns.
