A technique for cooling an air flow through a heat exchanger device involves a controlled change of direction from an air input direction to cooling fins in the heat exchanger device. The heat exchanger device is angled relative to the air stream input direction. The heat exchanger device may include a fluid- carrying conduit, a plurality of sets of cooling fins coupled along the fluid- carrying conduit, and a plurality of air stream deflectors, coupled to the fluid- carrying conduit, that form dividers between the sets of cooling fins. In operation, the air stream deflectors may change in a controlled manner air stream direction from the air stream input direction into a direction approximately parallel with the cooling fins and, after passing out of the cooling fins, change in a controlled manner air stream direction to an air stream output direction.
L'invention concerne une technique pour refroidir un flux d'air traversant un dispositif échangeur de chaleur, consistant à changer de manière contrôlée la direction du flux d'air, à partir d'une direction d'entrée, pour faire passer le flux d'air sur des ailettes de refroidissement dans le dispositif échangeur de chaleur. Ce dernier est incliné par rapport à la direction d'entrée du flux d'air. Ce dispositif échangeur de chaleur peut comprendre un conduit acheminant un fluide, une pluralité d'ensembles d'ailettes de refroidissement couplés le long de la conduite d'acheminement de fluide, une pluralité de déflecteurs de flux d'air qui forment des éléments de séparation entre les ensembles d'ailettes de refroidissement. Lors du fonctionnement, les déflecteurs de flux d'air peuvent changer la direction du flux d'air de manière contrôlée, la faisant passer d'une direction d'entrée à une direction approximativement parallèle aux ailettes de refroidissement puis à une direction de sortie.
