The invention concerns a heat exchanger designed to heat a fluid and foamy cold substance, containing solid particles and gases, such as liquid manure, from a hot liquid. The invention is characterised in that it comprises a plurality of elementary exchangers (1a, 1b) mounted in series, consisting of a horizontal tube (2) with a heat-conductive wall, wherein the substance is circulated, from one end to the other, and of a concentric tubular casing (3), enclosing said tube (2), wherein the hot liquid is circulated from one end to the other, and in a direction opposite to that of said substance, and inside the tube (2) is mounted coaxial a rotary shaft (4) bearing a helical brush (40) forming an Archimedean screw thread, rubbing against the tube inner wall (2) for transporting the substance therein. Said exchanger is particularly useful for preheating liquid manure in a dehydrating plant.

Cet échangeur est destiné à réchauffer une matière froide fluide et mousseuse, contenant des particules solides et des gaz, telle que du lisier, à partir d'un liquide chaud; il est remarquable par le fait qu'il comprend une série d'échangeurs élémentaires (1a, 1b) montés en série, constitués d'un tube horizontal (2) à paroi thermiquement conductrice, dans lequel on fait circuler la matière, d'une extrémité à l'autre, et d'une enveloppe tubulaire (3) concentrique, qui entoure ledit tube (2), dans lequel on fait circuler le liquide chaud d'une extrémité à l'autre, et en sens inverse de celui de ladite matière, et qu'à l'intérieur dudit tube (2) est monté coaxialement un arbre rotatif (4) portant une brosse hélicoïdale (40) formant filet de vis d'Archimède, qui frotte contre la paroi interne du tube (2) en assurant le transport de la matière dans celui-ci. Cet échangeur trouve particulièrement application pour le préchauffage du lisier dans une installation de déshydration.
