A process and the product thereof; wherein thermoplastic tubing for use in a heat exchanger is extruded with a multifilament yarn inside to act as a turbulator. The extrusion is started with a small rod or a lead-in wire pushing the end of the yarn through the die into the tubing to a place where it adheres to the inner wall of the tubing as it is cooling, then the yarn is pulled into the tubing as it is extruded. The part of the tubing with the lead-in wire is cut off, leaving tubing with efficient turbulation.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un produit ainsi obtenu. Selon ce procédé, un tube thermoplastique prévu pour être utilisé dans un échangeur thermique est extrudé à l'aide d'un fil multifilament (20) placé dans ce tube et servant d'agitateur. L'opération d'extrusion commence avec une petite tige ou un fil d'entrée (21) poussant l'extrémité du fil, à travers la filière (11) dans le tube (14) vers une position où il adhère à la paroi intérieure du tube (14) lors de son refroidissement. Le fil (20) est ensuite tiré dans le tube (14) lors de son extrusion. La partie du tube comportant le fil d'entrée est coupée, ce qui permet d'obtenir un tube avec une agitation efficace.
