A heat-generating body which can constitute a adhesive portion by, as a main component, a water-containing hydrophilic gel agent obtained from a hydrophilic polymeric thickening agent and has an excellent heat-generating performance due to scarce transfer of moisture between a heat-generating portion and the adhesive portion is provided. The heat-generating body has the heat-generating portion formed by sealing a heat-generating composition causing an exothermic reaction in the presence of air in an air-permeable container in desired form such as bag form or sheet form and the adhesive portion formed by, as a main component, the water-containing hydrophilic gel agent obtained from a hydrophilic polymeric thickening agent and is characterized in that a difference between critical moisture values of the heat-generating portion and the adhesive portion is allowed to be 5% or less.
La présente invention a trait à un élément de chauffage comportant une portion adhésive pouvant inclure un constituant majeur d'un agent de gel hydrophile aqueux obtenu à partir d'un épaississant polymérique hydrophile. Il présente une excellente efficacité de génération de chaleur de sorte qu'il se produit très peu de transfert d'eau entre la portion de génération de chaleur et la portion adhésive. L'élément de chauffage comporte : une portion de génération de chaleur formée par l'encapsulation d'une composition de génération de chaleur qui, en présence de l'air, subit une réaction exothermique dans un contenant perméable à l'air d'une forme souhaitée, par exemple, une forme de poche ou de feuille ; et une portion adhésive comportant en tant que constituant majeur un agent de gel hydrophile aqueux obtenu à partir d'un épaississant polymérique hydrophile. L'invention se caractérise en ce que la différence en humidité critique entre la portion de génération de chaleur et la portion adhésive est égale ou inférieure à 5 %.
