In a heat generator for a vehicle according to the present invention, an operation chamber defined in the heat generator is composed of a heat generation area (7) which receives therein a rotor, a storage area (8) which contains viscous fluid, and a boundary opening (9) of a relatively large surface area, which connects the two areas. The boundary opening is provided with a pair of transfer openings (35A, 35B) in a point-symmetric arrangement with respect to the rotation axis C of the rotor. Guide portions (41A, 41B), each corresponding to each of the openings, are provided in the storage area. With this structure, since at least one of the transfer openings and the guide portion corresponding thereto are located below the surface level L of the viscous fluid regardless of the attachment angle of the heat generator, the exchange and circulation of the viscous fluid can be carried out between the heat generation area and the storage area, in accordance with the rotation of the rotor.
Cette invention concerne un générateur de chaleur pour véhicules, comportant une chambre de fonctionnement cloisonnée qui comprend une zone de chauffage (7) abritant un rotor, une zone de stockage (8) de fluide visqueux, et une ouverture limite (9) possédant une zone d'ouverture relativement grande afin de permettre la communication entre ces deux zones. L'ouverture limite comporte deux pièces d'ouverture pour le transfert (35A, 35B) qui sont disposées symétriquement point par point par rapport à l'axe de rotation (C) du rotor. Des pièces de guidage (41A, 41B) correspondant respectivement aux deux pièces d'ouverture sont disposées dans la zone de stockage. Etant donné que l'une au moins des deux pièces d'ouverture pour le transfert et que la pièce de guidage correspondante peuvent être situées sous le niveau de liquide (L) du fluide visqueux quel que soit l'angle de montage du générateur de chaleur, la remise en circulation de remplacement du fluide visqueux due à la rotation du rotor peut être maintenue en permanence entre la zone de chauffage et la zone de stockage.
