A heat-insulating electrical pot composed of a heat-insulating vessel and, provided therein, an electrical heater, wherein a liquid, such as water, is heated in the vessel and maintained in a hot state. The heat-insulation layer of the vessel contains, sealed therein, at least one lowly heat-conductive gas selected from the group consising of xenon, crypton and argon.
