ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A heating unit is mounted to the enclosed body of a transport container, trailer vehicle, or the like for maintaining a desired temperature therein under cold atmospheric conditions; the unit comprises a frame struc- ture supporting an internal combustion engine and a heat exchange unit which collects the water cooling the engine and the exhaust gases of the engine to heat the air drawn from the body and returned thereto by a fan.
