Abstract of the Disclosures In a heat roll fixing unit equipped in an image recording device for fusing to fix a toner image on a recording sheet, a heat roller having a rugged surface over predetermined portion on the circumferential surface thereof and a backup roller opposedly arranged to the heat roller are pressed against with respect to each other, and the recording sheet carrying unfixed toner image thereon is held and fed between the backup roller and heat rollers, one or them being driven by a motor.
