ABSTRACT This invention relates to a thermosensitive stencil paper characterized by comprising a main component layer formed of a thermoplastic film and ink-permeable support bonded together with adhesive, in which the ink permeable support is a porous thin paper containing the polynosic fiber as a main fibrous component, and also relates to a thermosensitive stencil paper characterized by plastic film layer whose surface is coated with a mold-release layer containing silicone oil of 500,000 cs or more in kinematic viscosity as a main component, wherein transfer operation of paper sheet in the automatic printer is excellent and ink feeding performance in printing is high because of the support comprising porous thin paper whose main fibrous component is polynosic fiber, defect as non-printed spots is improved thanks to a small number of bundled fibers, and such paper as having a mold-release layer whose main component is silicone oil of 500,000 cs or more in kinematic viscosity is free of offsetting when rolled and causes no sticking for a long duration, thereby a thermosensitive stencil paper excellent in performance being obtained.
