A heat shrinkable shed (2) is mounted on a power cable (12) and sealed thereto by a hot-melt adhesive (10). Four projections (8) are esquispaced around the interior surface of the shed (2) to penetrate the adhesive (10) and to engage the outer surface of the cable (12) to enhance the longitudinal retention of the shed (2) on the cable (12), particularly under conditions of thermal cycling.

Un manchon thermorétractable (2) est monté sur un câble d'alimentation (12) et est scellé hermétiquement à celui-ci au moyen d'une colle thermofusible (10). Quatre parties saillantes (8) sont placées de manière équidistante autour de la surface interne du manchon (2) afin de permettre le passage de la colle (10) et de veniren contact avec la surface interne du câble (12), ceci afin d'augmenter la force de retenue longitudinale du manchon (2) sur le câble (12), notamment dans des conditions de cycle thermique.
