ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A heat shrinkable polyvinyl chloride film which shrinks more than 60% in one direction or more than 80% as an area shrinkage is prepared by stretching a film comprising 5 to 20 wt. parts of a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate type copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 10 to 15 wt. % and an average polymerization degree of more than 700 and 100 wt. parts of polyvinyl chloride at a special high stretch ratio.
