88 P 8098 DE Abstract Heat-shrinkable sheathing with low susceptibility to tearing. The invention relates to a heat-shrinkable sheathing (SH) of crosslinked. polymeric plastics mater- ial having different degrees of crosslinking, in which these regions are arranged to be evenly distributed over the whole surface of the sheathing. Here, at least one plastic component (MH) has a degree of crosslinking which is adapted to optimal shrinkability and another plastic component (MN) has a degree of crosslinking which is adapted to optimal mechanical strength towards tear propagation.
