A pigmented thermoplastic resin composition comprising: A) a thermoplastic resin; B) a metal phthalocyanine pigment; and C) 0.5 to 30% by weight, based on the weight of the pigment B), as agent imparting heat stability to component B), of a sulphonated imidomethyl phthalocyanine having the formula I: Image (I) wherein Pc is a phthalocyanine residue optionally substituted by up to 4 chlorine or bromine atoms; M is hydrogen or a metal capable of forming a metal phthalocyanine; m is a value within the range of from 0.05 to 1.0; n is a value within the range of from 0.1 to 4.0; and X is a residue such that, in combination with the group Image , it forms a 5-, 6- or 7-membered cyclic imide.
