Le matériau est soumis à un champ de rayon- nement hyperfréquentiel, la teneur en eau dudit maté- riau et l'intensité du champ de rayonnement étant ajustés à des niveaux appropriés, et à un courant gazeux chaud. Ce mode de traitement conduit à un rendement énergétique très avantageux, et à une très bonne homo- généité des caractéristiques du produit. Il s'appli- que notamment de manière très efficace aux coquilles d'isolation à base de feutre de fibres minérales.
