ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a cup-like receptacle for receiving a beverage container with the receptacle comprising an inner sleeve settable to different temperatures and in particular cold temperatures for influencing the temperature of the beverage in the container and an insulating cover over the sleeve. Provided atop the receptacle is a mouth piece of lesser inside diameter than the sleeve for gripping on the container and preventing its contact with the sleeve.
