A heating suit for keeping a human body warm under cold weather conditions, which includes a heat insulated suit with infrared transparent window. A light, portable, low temperature, infrared heater is located outside of the suit. A heat collector is located inside of the suit to collect heat radiated from the infrared heater through the infrared transparent window. A heat distribution system is provided to deliver heat collected by the heat collector to different parts of the suit.
