The invention concerns an infrared heating apparatus (1), in particular for the agricultural sector, for directional downward heating in livestock buildings, comprising at least one burner delimiting at least a conduit supplying an air/gas mixture, a reflector (3) enclosing the burner (2) and an air/gas combustion chamber (4) located at said burner conduit (2) end coaxial with the reflector (3). The invention is characterised in that the burner combustion chamber (4) arranged coaxial with the reflector (3) co-operates with a solid screen (5) located beneath and in the axis of the burner conduit (2) to stop falling particles coming from the combustion and to reduce the intensity of the apparatus axial radiation thereby eliminating central overheating. The invention is useful for heating livestock buildings.
L'invention concerne un appareil de chauffage (1) du type infrarouge, notamment destiné au secteur agricole, pour le chauffage directionnel vers le bas des bâtiments d'élevage, cet appareil comprenant au moins un brûleur délimitant au moins un conduit d'alimentation en mélange gaz/air, un réflecteur (3) entourant le conduit du brûleur (2) et une chambre (4) de combustion du mélange air/gaz située en extrémité dudit conduit (2) du brûleur et coaxiale au réflecteur (3). Cet appareil de chauffage est caractérisé en ce que la chambre de combustion (4) du brûleur disposée coaxiale au réflecteur (3) coopère avec un écran (5) plein situé en-dessous et dans l'axe du conduit (2) du brûleur pour, d'une part, stopper la chute de particules émanant de la combustion, et d'autre part, réduire l'intensité du rayonnement axial de l'appareil en supprimant ainsi une surchauffe centrale. Application: chauffage de bâtiments d'élevage.
