Abstract Heating cables are secured in proper position by sup- ports extending into the rain gutter of the house or building. In new installations, these supports may extend across the gutters and support the outer wall thereof in addition to serve as an anchoring means for heating cables. The construction is such that the supports serve as a means of supporting heating cables extend- ing longitudinally of the gutter and in spaced relation to the bottom of the gutter. The supports may also serve as anchors for zigzag cable portions of a heating cable overlying the edge por- tion of the roof.
