ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A heating assembly characterized by a heating pad portion that is particularly adapted to flexibly adhere against the thumb portion of an acceleration control lever of a snowmobile and to warm the driver's thumb held against it to control the acceleration or fuel input to the engine. The heating pad portion of the heating assembly is connected by an electric cord to a rheostatic control portion and includes a thicker central portion embedding a heating conductor and bevel edge portions for more flexible adherence to the acceleration control lever.
