A heating source fan unit is provided which facilitates the movement of heat developed by a heating source. The heating source fan unit comprises an elongated housing member adapted to be positioned in the upper vicinity of a heating source, wherein the housing member has at least one inlet at a first end, and at least one outlet spanning a length of at least one side. Situated within the housing member at the first end is a blowing device which draws air into the housing through the inlet and propels the air down the length of the housing and out of the at least one outlet. The heating source fan unit is normally positioned at the upper vicinity of a heating source in order to limit unnecessary use of floor space within a living area.
