ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel heating system is provided herein. The system includes a conduit system, means for circulating a heat carrying fluid in the conduit system, and means for heating the heat carrying fluid. Part of the conduit system is built-in in a covering to be heated or surrounding a space or object to be heated. Means are preferably also provided for compressing the fluid before entering the built-in part of the conduit system and for expanding the fluid after it has passed that part. Energy is supplied to the system from a low temperature heat energy accumulator. Means are preferably also provided for converting the expansion work of said fluid into mechanical or electrical energy. This provides a simple and energy saving system for houses, which uses low temperature energy for heating purposes or for conversion into mechanical and/or electrical energy.
