Diagnostic system comprising an on-site service tool (10) operatively connected to and capable of interfacing with a process system (12) and obtaining data and/or information from the process system (12); a display associated with the service tool (10) and operatively capable of displaying the data and/or information; the on-site service tool (10) being operable by an on-site technician (22) for reviewing a remote service tool s data and/or information; a remote duplication capability (14), which might includes an internet link, remotely duplicating to the remote service (18) tool the data and/or information displayed by the display or obtained from the process system (12); the remote service tool (18), which receives data and/or information from the remote duplication capability (14), is operable by an off- site observer (16) to provide instructions and/or advice to the on-site technician.
L'invention concerne un système diagnostique comprenant un outil de service sur site (10) relié de manière fonctionnelle au système fonctionnel (12) et capable d'interfacer avec ledit système et d'obtenir des données et/ou des informations provenant d'un système fonctionnel (12), un affichage lié à l'outil de service (10) et capable d'afficher de façon fonctionnelle les données et/ou les informations. L'outil de service sur site (10) peut être activé par un technicien sur site (22) afin de revoir des données et/ou des informations de l'outil de service à distance. Ledit système comprend aussi une capacité de duplication à distance (14) qui peut comporter une liaison Internet et qui permet de dupliquer à distance pour l'outil de service à distance (18) les données et/ou les informations affichées par l'affichage ou obtenues à partir du système fonctionnel (12). L'outil de service à distance (18) qui reçoit des données et/ou des informations provenant de la capacité de duplication à distance (14) peut être actionné par un observateur hors site (16) de manière à fournir des instructions et/ou des conseils au technicien sur site.
