A multi-layer film comprising: (a) a substrate layer of a thermoplastic polymer film having opposed first and second surfaces; and (b) a heat sealable layer associated with the first surface of the substrate and comprising (i) a first acrylic polymer and (ii) a second polymer which is a copolymer comprising residues derived from one or more olefinically unsaturated monomers and residues derived from one or more olefinically unsaturated monomers which comprise one or more functional groups. The first polymer (i) has a glass transition temperature in the range of from 40 to 120 ~C and a weight average molecular weight in the range of from 20,000 to 60,000, the second polymer (ii) is a copolymer of a C1-C4 olefinically unsaturated hydrocarbon and an olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acid, and the heat-sealable layer comprises from 5 to 60 % by weight of the first acrylic polymer and from 40 to 95 % by weight of the second polymer.

Ce film multicouche comprend: (a) une couche substrat d'un film polymère thermoplastique comportant des première et seconde surfaces opposées; et (b) une couche thermoscellable associée à la première surface de ladite couche substrat et comprenant: (i) un premier polymère acrylique; et (ii) un second polymère qui est constitué par un copolymère comprenant des résidus dérivés d'un ou de plusieurs monomères à insaturation oléfinique et des résidus dérivés d'un ou de plusieurs monomères à insaturation oléfinique renfermant un ou plusieurs groupes fonctionnels. Le premier polymère (i) possède une température de transition vitreuse comprise entre 40 et 120 ·C et un poids moléculaire moyen pondéral compris entre 20000 et 60000, le second polymère (ii) est constitué par un copolymère d'un hydrocarbure à insaturation oléfinique C¿1?-C¿4? et d'un acide carboxylique à insaturation oléfinique, et la couche thermoscellable comprend 5 à 60 % en poids du premier polymère acrylique et 40 à 95 % en poids du second polymère.
