CA 2434271

A hybrid bithermal hydrogen water (BHW) combined industrially reformed hydrogen and catalytic exchange (CIRCE) process heavy water production system in which most or all of the combined electrolysis and catalytic exchange (CECE) upper states of the CIRCE process are replaced with BHW liquid phase catalytic exchange stages. The system allows the CIRCE process to return to a more natural cascade resulting in a more cost effective process.
