Abstract of the Disclosure A height-adjustable support has a bearing member for connecting the support to a vehicle. A support member is connected to the bearing member so as to pivotable between a rest position and a support position. A follower is pivotably connected to the bearing member and engages the support member so as to entrain the support member at least in one direction of pivoting between the rest position and the support position. The height-adjustable support also has a drive unit for pivoting the support member. The support is especially suitable for supporting motor homes or trailers.
