ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A height adjustable table which consists of a table top having a first end and a second end, and a support frame positioned below the table top adjacent to each of the ends. Each support frame consists of two generally vertical support members with longitudinal tracks, and at least one horizontal support member fixed in position between the vertical support members. A lift member extends between the vertical support members. The lift member has opposed sides which engage the tracks of the vertical support members, a horizontal top member which engages the table top and a horizontal bottom member. A screw is rotatably mounted in the horizontal support member. The screw has an upper end engaging the lift member and a lower end on which is positioned a bevel year. A shaft extends between the support frames. The shaft has a first bevel gear which engages the bevel gear of the support frame at the first end of the table and a second bevel year which engages the bevel gear of the support frame at the second end of the table. A crank is positioned at one end of the shaft. Upon rotation of the shaft, the screws rotate resulting in movement of the lift members longitudinally along the screws and the consequential movement of the table top.
