ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The height of a walking aid is readily adjustable for use by individuals of varying sizes. This walking aid comprises an extruded one piece solid leg support member defining a central tube section and two outer tube sections. The central tube section defines a hollow passageway extending between its upper and lower ends. A leg is slidably positioned in the hollow passageway of the central section, and a device is operably associated with the central tube section for adjustably securing the leg thereto. As the central tube section is formed integrally with the outer sections, no bolt and pin are needed to secure the central tube section to the outer ones to thereby increase the strength of the structure.
