A hembar (10) includes front and rear walls (14,16) and top and bottom spline channels (22,24) adjacent a top and a bottom of the hembar. Each spline channel receives a spline (26) in an oblique orientation to a vertical line and is arranged to conceal the channel from any viewing location in front of the hembar. A shade fabric (8) is received in the channels through longitudinal slots and the splines are received through an open end. A notch (38) opposite the slot receives part of the shade fabric to facilitate spline insertion. A pocket for a weighting element (36) is off-centered such that it is closer to the rear wall. The hembar is assembled using a support member (42) having obliquely angled walls to support the hembar with one channel horizontally oriented. The front and rear walls of the hembar may be covered by the shade fabric in a full wrap option.
L'invention concerne une barre d'ourlet comportant des parois avant et arrière et des canaux à épissure supérieur et inférieur adjacents à la partie supérieure et la partie inférieure de la barre d'ourlet. Chaque canal à épissure reçoit une épissure dans une orientation oblique par rapport à une ligne verticale et est conçu pour dissimuler le canal de tout emplacement de visionnement devant la barre d'ourlet.
