A hemostasis promoting device (20) is disclosed for sealing a puncture or puncture (24) in the body of a patient wherein the closure device (22) includes an anchor member (32), a collagen plug (30), a filament and a bioabsorbable tamping member (130) wherein the tamping member includes a clot promoting agent therein to prevent capillary bleeding in the proximal portion of the puncture and to eliminate blood seepage past the collagen plug to ensure that the patient may be promptly and reliably ambulated within a relatively short period of time once the closure device has been administered to the patient.
L'invention concerne un dispositif activateur d'hémostase (20) destiné à refermer une ponction, ou à pratiquer une ponction (24) dans le corps d'un patient. Ce dispositif de fermeture (22) comporte un élément d'ancrage (32), un bouchon de collagène (30), un filament et un élément tampon biorésorbable (130); l'élément tampon biorésorbable comporte un agent activant la formation d'un caillot destiné à empêcher un saignement capillaire dans la partie proximale de la ponction, et à éliminer une infiltration de sang au-delà du bouchon de collagène, de façon à assurer un déplacement prompt et sûr du patient dans un temps relativement court après application au patient du dispositif de fermeture.
