A bypass for power injection includes (a) a housing (100) defining a lumen (108) extending from a proximal end to a distal end coupled to a catheter; (b) a membrane valve (110) mounted within the lumen, the membrane valve having an opening (112) extending therethrough sized to tightly receive therethrough and seal around a power injection device (130); and (c) a flapper valve (120) extending across the lumen distally of the membrane valve. The flapper valve includes a flap biased toward a closed position in which the lumen is sealed. The flap is rotatable away from the closed position when contacted by a power injection device to permit the device to extend therethrough.
La présente invention concerne une dérivation pour injection de puissance comprenant (a) un logement (100) délimitant une lumière (108) se prolongeant depuis une extrémité proximale et jusqu'à une extrémité distale raccordée à un cathéter ; (b) une valve à membrane (110) montée à l'intérieur de la lumière, ladite valve à membrane comportant une ouverture (112) se prolongeant à l'intérieur et d'une taille telle à épouser étroitement et de façon étanche les contours d'un dispositif d'injection de puissance (130) ; et (c) une soupape à clapet (120) disposée en travers de la lumière de façon distale par rapport à la valve à membrane. La soupape à clapet comporte un clapet sollicité pour être en position fermée, la lumière étant alors hermétiquement fermée. Le clapet est mobile autour d'un axe de rotation, ce qui lui permet de quitter la position fermée lorsque le dispositif d'injection de puissance entre en contact avec lui, avec pour résultat de permettre au dispositif de se déployer à l'intérieur.
