An herbicidal composition comprising i) 5 to 405 by weight of clethodim, ii) 0.1 to 10% by weight of sulfonate surfactant, iii) 0.1 to 30% by weight of at least one nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyoxyalkylene fatty alcohol ether and polyoxyalkylene alkylphenyl ether, and iv) 50 to 94.8% by weight of aromatic hydrocarbon gives good stability of the emulsion after it is diluted with water.
