- 1 - Abstract: The present invention is directed to a herbicidal composition which comprises as the active ingredient (a) at least one of the compounds of the formula: Image wherein R is A hydrogen atom or a methyl group and (b) at least one of the compounds of the formula: Image wherein X is a chlorine atom or a methyl group and A is -CH2-, -?H- or -(CH2)3-, salts or esters thereof, and an inert carrier or diluent, which exerts a synergistically enhanced herbicidal activity.
