ABSTRACT The specification relates to a herbicidal composition which comprises, as an active ingred- lent, a herbicidally effective amount of a triazinone compound of the formula: Image wherein A is -NH-N=CHCH2NH-, -NH-NHCH2CN2NH- or -NH-N=CNC(NNOH)=N-, and an inert carrier. The composition is effective against a broad spectrum of Cramineae grasses and broad-leaved weeds without phytotoxicity to crop plants.
