ABSTRACT Novel herbicidal spray compositions containing (a) at least one brush-controlling herbicide, (b) at least one glycol ether of the formula Image wherein R represents C1-C4 alkyl or phenyl, each R1 independently represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, and n represents any one of the integers 1-10 inclusive, and (c) water. The emulsions are effective for the kill and con- trol of brush upon basal, dormant stem or foliar application thereto. The emulsions may optionally contain a surfactant and up to about 25 percent by volume of a petroleum distillate oil such as diesel or fuel oil.
