The present invention relates to novel herbicidal [1,8]-naphthyridines of Formula (Ia) or (Ib), or an agronomically acceptable salt of said compound wherein R1, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, n, m, X and Q are as defined herein. The invention further relates to processes and intermediates for the preparation of the [1,8]- naphthyridines, to compositions which comprise the herbicidal compounds, and to their use for controlling weeds, in particular in crops of useful plants.

Linvention concerne en outre des procédés et des produits intermédiaires permettant la préparation des [l,8]-naphthyridines, des compositions qui incluent les composés herbicides, et leur utilisation pour lutter contre les mauvaises herbes, en particulier dans les cultures de plantes utiles.
