There is provided an essentially non-aqueous homogeneous liquid herbicide composition comprising: a) a lipophilic solvent soluble complex comprising the reaction product of: i) not in excess of about 35 % by weight of one or more lipophobic herbicides having an acidic moiety; and ii) not in excess of about 99 % by weight of one or more tertiary dimethylamines of the structure (CH3)2N- R wherein R contains an alkyl group of at least 8 carbon atoms and may contain other chemical moieties and wherein is at least one mole equivalent of such amine to eachmole of lipophobic herbicide; b) not in excess of about 60 % by weight of one or more essentially non-aqueous polar solvents having low volatility; c) not in excess of about 90 % by weight of one or more additional solvents selected from the group consisting of low to medium HLB surfactants; and d) not in excess of about 99 % by weight of one or more lipophilic carriers.

L'invention concerne une composition herbicide liquide homogène essentiellement non aqueuse contenant: a) un complexe soluble de solvant lipophile renfermant le produit de la réaction de: 1) pas plus d'environ 35 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs herbicides lipophobes présentant une fraction acide; et 2) pas plus d'environ 99 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs diméthylamines tertiaires représentés par la structure (CH¿3?)¿2?N-R, dans laquelle R contient un groupe alkyle comprenant au moins 8 atomes de carbone et peut contenir d'autres fractions chimiques, et dans laquelle au moins un mole d'un tel amine est équivalent à chaque mole d'herbicide lipophobe; b) pas plus d'environ 60 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs solvants polaires essentiellement non aqueux présentant une faible volatilité; c) pas plus d'environ 90 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs solvants supplémentaires sélectionnés dans le groupe constitué par des tensioactifs HLB de faibles à moyens; et enfin, d) pas plus d'environ 99 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs transporteurs lipophiles.
